This part of the AAT course is assessed by a computer based exam. A practice assessment can be found at the end of the book followed by the answers. While the practice assessment is paper-based, it follows the format of the computer-based exam closely.

This unit follows on from the Business Environment unit at Level 2, so to benefit fully from this book, it is expected that you already have a basic knowledge of business types and the environment in which they trade. If you don’t have this knowledge, it is recommended that you should read the Business Environment by Alan Dawson, available from Premier Books
